The number of employees taking time off because of mental health has increased threefold in the last twenty years. These statistics come from DAK, a leading German health insurance supplier. DAK issued a new report stating why German employees are falling ill. Germans are missing work because of anxiety, depression, and stress. The report said one in eighteen workers took at least one day off work due to mental health issues.
